More than 150,000 people will visit Casa Peru during the two weeks it will be based in Moscow on the occasion of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Rogers Valencia projected Tuesday.

Casa Peru is part of a campaign —led by the Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru)— to promote the Inca's exportable offer in Russia.

"We've decided to participate in this great World Cup event, to be present and showcase Peru in Moscow (...)," Valencia told RPP radio and TV news station.

According to him, television advertising of this initiative is expected to reach a total of 100 million people.

The cabinet member also pointed out 6 million tourists will arrive in Russia to enjoy soccer's mega event, which will be very beneficial for Casa Peru's purposes.

As part of this major project, Casa Peru will also have a trailer to visit the cities where the red-white team will play its first three matches.

The national delegation will be composed of producers, exporters, and entrepreneurs from diverse regions of the Inca country, such as Tacna, Ica, Arequipa, Junin, Lima, and Cusco, among others.
