Peru: Around 78 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

78,025,897 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported.

Out of that total, 27,658,731 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 84.4% of the target population.
Within this framework, 18,759,536 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 65.6% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.

Similarly, 2,077,400 people have received the fourth dose.
