Peru: Over 78 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

78,111,740 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported.

Out of that total, 27,666,143 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 84.4% of the target population.
Within this framework, 18,787,744 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 65.7% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.

Similarly, 2,123,478 people have received the fourth dose.
