The
President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Sunday welcomed the participation of the Peruvian delegation, which is competing at the 2022 Bolivarian Games, adding that he expects Peruvian athletes will bring more happiness to the population.
In this regard, the Head of State remarked that Peruvian athletes will continue to make the country proud on an international stage.
"I would like to acknowledge the outstanding participation of our athletes from the Peruvian delegation, who have been competing at the 2022 Bolivarian Games in Colombia," he stated.
"Thank you for making Peru proud, your achievements and victories are also ours," the President wrote on his official Twitter account.
"We extend all our support and good energies to you so that you can continue gaining victories in different disciplines until the end of this international event and can bring more happiness to the country. Keep going. Go, Peru!" he said in a second tweet.
