Peru's PM arrived in Brazil for meeting with South American Presidents

Peruvian Prime Minister Alberto Otarola has arrived in Brazil to participate in the Presidential Summit of South American Countries.

According to a statement posted by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) on Twitter, the Peruvian delegation arrived on Sunday night.

Otarola chairs the high-level commission together with Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi, who will participate in the activities on behalf of the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte.

On Sunday, the Executive Branch authorized the trip of the Cabinet chief to the city of Brasilia, in the Federative Republic of Brazil, from May 28 to 31 this year, to attend the Presidential Summit of South American Countries.

The head of the Ministerial Cabinet will hold bilateral meetings with authorities from Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Uruguay, in order to address issues of common interest, which will take place on May 29 and 30, 2023, in the city of Brasilia.
