Peruvian Prime Minister Alberto Otarola held a meeting with
Brazil's Foreign Affairs Minister, Ambassador Mauro Vieira, within the framework of his official visit to the neighboring country.
"She is looking for a legal formula to leave the country to personally promote foreign policy," he explained.
The Cabinet chief expressed to the Brazilian authority the President Boluarte's desire to attend the Belém do Pará Convention to strengthen and make visible the fight of the Peruvian Government against violence against women —a problem that hits the region.
Earlier on Monday, he met with Brazil's Environment and Climate Change Minister Marina Silva, to whom he extended greetings and respect from President Dina Boluarte, whom he represents.
"With great commitment, our Ministry of the Environment is working very closely with native peoples. We have a very clear vision in Peru, that is to consolidate a global South America through the Amazon," he remarked.
The head of the Ministerial Cabinet is carrying out activities within the framework of the Presidential Summit of South American Countries, which currently takes place in Brazil.
