I reaffirm that Peruvian workers deserve a decent pension, the

The Head of State indicated that —in fulfillment of his Government's promise— he met with the highest representatives of (private) Pension Fund Administrators (AFP) on Tuesday evening.
"Our goal is to search for a proposal that allows a true reform of the National and Private Pension System in favor of workers and future retirees," Mr. Castillo affirmed on his official Twitter account.
"We continue working for the interests of all Peruvians," he added.
Last evening, President Castillo met with AFP representatives to evaluate the appropriate mechanisms for a reform of the National Pension System, so that Peruvians can have access to a fair pension.
This meeting was also attended by
Economy-Finance Minister Oscar Graham, AFP Association Chairwoman Giovanna Priale; as well as the general managers of AFP Integra, Aldo Ferrini; Profuturo AFP, Ignacio Aramburu; Prima AFP, Renzo Ricci; and AFP Habitat Peru, Mariano Alvarez.
The event took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
