U.S. actor Noah Schnapp —famous for his role in the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things — has recently visited the Oasis of Huacachina, a popular tourist destination in Peru's southern Ica region.

The young star —best known as Will Byers on the show— shared a video and two photos of the visit on his Instagram account last Friday.

In the first picture, he can be seen posing on a dune buggy with his mother.

The second picture of the post captures the stunning view of the sunset in the desert of Ica.

Additionally, he shared a video of his mother sliding down the side of a dune as they try out sandboarding.

"Mom & me: dune surfing," he wrote in the caption, which quickly went viral.

The actor's post garnered several comments: "That's too cool," "Welcome to Peru, Noah!" "Have fun in Peru, Noah," "How come you are in Latin America?" "Yeah, Peru is amazing!" "Noah is in Peru."

Noah Schnapp arrived in the Peruvian capital to participate in the Lima Comic Convention 2022, where Stranger Things' fans have been able to see the actor on July 30 and 31.

The event takes place at Arena 1 in the Costa Verde beach area located in the district of San Miguel.
