Peru: PM 14.49%, PP 13.00%, AP 10.45% in 2020 parliamentary elections (at 29.51%)

According to the National Office of Electoral Processes' (ONPE) official results at 29.51%, Partido Morado obtained 14.49% of votes, followed by Podemos Peru (13.00%), Accion Popular (10.45%), and Partido Popular Cristiano (7.90%).

These votes were cast by Lima and Peruvian citizens residing overseas during the 2020 extraordinary parliamentary elections on Sunday.

Fuerza Popular received 7.76%, followed by FREPAP (7.61%), Frente Amplio (5.48%), Somos Peru (4.88%), Juntos Por el Peru (4.64%), Alianza Para el Progreso (3.54%), Peru Patria Segura (2.98%), Partido Aprista Peruano-APRA (2.94%), and Union Por el Peru (2.42%).

Democracia Directa obtained 1.73%, followed by Avanza Pais (1.72%), Peru Libre (1.69%), Peru Nacion (1.68%), Solidaridad Nacional (1.62%), Vamos Peru (1.42%), Contigo (1.21%), and Renacimiento Unido Nacional (0.85%).

The blank votes stood at 1.62% and null votes reached 5.74%.

24,799,384 Peruvian citizens were eligible to participate in the process to elect the 130 legislators who will serve the remaining period of the 2016-2021 legislative tenure, following the constitutional dissolution of Congress.

Out of the total eligible voters, 23,825,154 live in Peru and 974,239 reside abroad, of which 650,010 are in the Americas, 281,640 in Europa, 36,288 in Asia, 5,980 in Oceania, and 321 in Africa.

The extraordinary parliamentary elections see 21 political parties partake in the process.
