Peru: President Vizcarra's popularity rises to 58%

The popularity of the President of the Republic, Martín Vizcarra, rose to 58%, the latest Ipsos Peru survey has revealed.

According to the study, published by El Comercio newspaper two days ago, there was a two-percentage increase compared with December 2019.

This is the first survey that measures the president's popularity this year, just one week before the extraordinary congressional elections take place.

Regarding the disapproval rate, the survey indicated that it stands at 32%, down by one percentage point.
