Peru's FA Min meets with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi held a meeting with United States Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.

During this meeting, the Deputy Secretary of State expressed the United States' support for democratic institutions in Peru.

Ambas autoridades resaltaron su interés en continuar profundizando los diversos aspectos de la agenda bilateral en materia de seguridad, derechos humanos, democracia, prosperidad económica, lucha contra la corrupción y el tráfico ilícito de drogas.

Both authorities underlined their interest in continuing to deepen the various aspects of the bilateral agenda in terms of security, human rights, democracy, economic prosperity, as well as the fight against corruption and illicit drug trafficking.
